Final Submissions

Submissions have to be done electronically via PaperPlaza no later than 23:59 Pacific time on Oct. 1924, 2022. Manuscripts can be re-uploaded any number of times before the deadline.

You need to complete registration to the conference before submission. The upload will be enabled after the payment. Please note that it takes a while for the confirmation procedure.

Contributing PDF file must conform to the manuscript preparation guidelines. In particular, you should use the provided templates and check the PDF for compliance within PaperPlaza.

Paper format

• A single PDF file (up to 5MB)

• Two-column format in the IEEE style

• 6 pages including figures and references. 2 additional pages are allowed at an extra page fee of 20,000 JPY per page

An optional multimedia material (an MPEG file up to 10MB with the extension mpeg, mpg or mp4) can be added to supplement contributed papers.

RA-L Option

The submission process to IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters (RA-L) with Humanoids presentation option has been changed recently. It is totally independent from the conference. Please do not follow the Humanoids 2022 submission process.

Authors of accepted RA-L papers will be given the option to present their work at Humanoids 2022. To be eligible for it, the paper’s final accepted manuscript must have been submitted to RA-L for proofing between Oct. 1st, 2021 and Aug. 31st, 2022. Note that the deadline for the initial submission is not explicitly defined.
