The conference banquet will be held on November 29th from 19:00 to 21:00 at Large Banquet Hall (Hagoromo), Laguna Garden Hotel, which is next to the conference venue. The hall will open at 18:30.
European dinner will be served. We will also arrange Vegetarian diet / Muslim-friendly diet / Allergen-free diet for those who request in advance in the registration process.
During the banquet, Ryukyuan dance, a traditional performance in Okinawa, will be performed. It was originally a ritual entertainment of the Ryukyu Dynasty, and has spread to citizens as popular culture in Meiji era (1868~1912). It was designated as one of the national intangible cultural assets in 2009. It has several variations including female dance, where dancers wear special costumes made of Okinawan dyed fabric and put on graceful movements to tunes played with folk instruments.
The dance show will be provided with the support of Okinawa prefecture.
